AI Policy
As AI technologies are further developing and rapidly being socialized into daily life, governments at all levels and across jurisdictions are working to set productive guidelines for how they are developed and implemented. I have worked on a variety of policy initiatives related to different AI use cases and with different governmental bodies. I aim to provide expert social sciences guidance to decision-makers as they develop a set of policy instruments—best practices, processes, tools, and training—to support their implementation of AI law and policy. The ultimately goal is to leverage ethical principles (notably, access, control, transparency and equity) to enable AI governance tools that are re consistently and accurately applied, enhancing social integrity of AI.
